Review 2 (Amityville Horror)

Review 2 (Amityville Horror) Hindi

Will begin with a statutory warning: Watching an English movie in Hindi is no justice, so any views would be somewhat distorted.

It’s a neat horror movie; yet, an enjoyable and typical ‘wandering ghosts in a haunted house’ script. Though the viewer might wish that some more sense was put into the story behind ghosts’ dilemma, it stays meaningless. The only empathize-able ghost is Jody, a 12 year old girl carrying a black teddy, willing to tell her murder story. The protagonist family is again, a fun-loving fivesome full of frolic and common titter bitters.

The priest who comes in to purify the house is warded away by a swarm of house flies attacking him. The scene is unfitting, though it serves its purpose. Watch the movie… sans expectations. Just a pleasurable time-killer!
